- Today, Natal Dank takes on the Director role and leadership of the HR Trend Institute.
An influential figure within the international HR community and recognised as a pioneer in the Agile HR movement, Natal is thrilled to be taking on the role of Director and chief trend watcher. “The HR Trend Institute has been my go-to website for years and helps me stay up to date with the latest trends influencing the people strategy of organisations. It’s an honour to take on the Director role from Tom Haak and keep this great source of HR content and analysis going”, says Natal.
After a decade of thought leadership, founder Tom Haak is stepping back from the Director role. Tom remains connected with the institute and will provide insights on future trends and continue to deliver his well-known, inspiring keynotes. “Tom has built a great brand”, says Natal. “The HR Trend Institute not only tracks the trends but provides crucial commentary on why certain trends are important and what this means for your business.” In taking on the role Natal praised Tom for his inspiring thought leadership and impact on the international HR profession. “I’ve personally learnt so much from Tom and want to thank him for his confidence in us“.
Natal and Tom originally met in 2016 and immediately bonded over the need to disrupt the Taylorist legacy of traditional HR processes and systems. More recently they partnered on the popular video series, “Talking HR Trends with Natal & Tom”. Tom adds, “I have known Natal for many years. I’m very glad she has been willing to take on the leadership of the HR Trend Institute and, with her team, develop the institute further as a source of inspiration for HR professionals around the world”.
Natal is also co-founder of PXO Culture. Through the Institute we’ll continue to keep you up-to-date with the latest HR trends and their impact on your business and people strategy. Through PXO Culture we’ll continue to be a trusted provider for Agile HR training, coaching and consultancy.
We aim to keep Tom’s legacy alive by encouraging specific trends to take hold, for example HR as a corporate activist, embracing complexity and using design thinking to personalise the employee experience. Stay tuned for regular and informative HR Trend Institute posts.
